Coaching borrows from both consulting and from counselling but is neither. As your coach, we do not answer your questions and do not give any advice. Instead, we are the ones asking difficult questions and you are required to introspect and respond to the question. There is no right or wrong answer – the answer will depend on your unique journey through life and as coach, our job is to help you find the answer that is right for you.
We focus on leadership coaching; this is a hands-on, one-on-one process between a high-potential individual and a coach that typically lasts between 2 and 6 months. The duration depends on the type of intervention needed and consists of face-to-face or phone-based developmental discussions aimed at performance improvement or at developing competencies.
The coaching is meant to be practical and goal-focused and may concentrate on further leveraging existing strengths, avoiding professional derailers or working through issues like prioritisation and the fear of missing opportunities.

A coach provides feedback, good or bad, that you may not get from others you work with.
